First, welcome to my social media hub! This is a site that allows me to consolidate my online presence (both professional and personal). Here is where all of my social media sites come together - I aggregate through through Friendfeed and chi.mp, and I also have a very strong Facebook and Twitter presence.
My professional background is in community mobilization & outreach on public health issues, with a specialty in chemical dependency prevention and tobacco control. My past work experience (and skill set) in both the non-profit and private sector include
- Social media engagement, working with brands (and non-profits) on building word of mouth;
- Grant writing/fund raising/special event planning, raising over $80,000 for several groups and coalitions

- Strategy & execution of community organization and mobilization efforts with a diverse range of stakeholders and partners
- Strong background in public health/public policy advocacy efforts.
As a side effort, I blog about comics, television, and pop culture at my personal blog, Blog THIS, Pal! and also write a monthly column for Comic Related. In my personal life, I enjoy comic collecting, movies, reading, and socializing/networking (both professional and personal). In fact, I am acting as class representative for my graduating class at St. Ignatius College Prep, doing a variety of things including running our Facebook page.
